Wrexham will welcome Crewe Alexandra at Racecourse Ground, Wrexham in Game Week 10 of League 2. Sixth and seventh-place teams will be battling out to reach a higher place in the table. Who will come out on top after 90 minutes?

After winning the National League title last season, Wrexham have made a relatively smooth transition to life in League Two. However, their previous match ended in a heavy defeat, with a 5-0 loss against Stockport County. Wrexham's manager, Phil Parkinson, will be hoping for a strong response from his team in their upcoming game. Nonetheless, Wrexham's defense has shown vulnerabilities in several matches this season, conceding five goals in three of their first nine games. This is a concerning trend for Parkinson. On a positive note, Wrexham has been quite successful in attack, scoring 20 goals so far this season, making them the third-highest scoring team in League Two. 

Two defenders for Wrexham are nearing their return from injury. Jordan Tunnicliffe is making progress towards recovery while Eoghan O'Connell is expected to return to full training by the end of the week. However, both players will not be available for this weekend's game. The manager, Parkinson, may consider making changes to the attack as the team failed to score in their previous match. Ollie Palmer could potentially replace Sam Dalby in the starting lineup.

In regards to Crewe, their center-back Connor O'Riordan has been declared fit and will be eligible for selection this weekend. Additionally, Charlie Finney and Charlie Colkett are in contention for the lineup after featuring for the Under-21s against Fleetwood Town. Unfortunately, midfielder Conor Thomas will remain sidelined as he was ruled out of the previous week's victory against Colchester. 

Crewe Alexandra's possible lineup includes Davies, Adebisi, Offord, Demetriou, Williams, Powell, Tabiner, White, Tracey, Long, and Baker-Richards.

Parkinson will be expecting a strong response from his team following their disappointing 5-0 loss to Stockport County in their last outing. Wrexham has shown strength at home throughout the season, winning their last three matches at the Racecourse Ground. As a result, we anticipate them bouncing back with a victory this weekend. Over 3.5 goals is expected in this game.
