Kenya vs Comoros Prediction: The Harambee Stars stand a better chance here

Harambee Stars began their COSAFA Cup journey with a deserved (0-2) victory over Zambia. Kenya, who scored before the break, stunned the most successful team in the tournament. 

Kenya head here for the second time after being out since 2013, and their matchup against Comoros will be their fifth match here. Engin Firat's men will be keen to make their presence felt in this competition, and they’ll be at their best against their opponent. 

The Coelacanths of Comoros head here with a slim defeat against Zimbabwe in their opening game as they mustered just a shot at goal. 

Comoros managed just three points in their group games last season, and it was against Seychelles. Comoros scored four times and conceded five goals to finish third in Group A. Comoros were a quarter-finalist in 2019 and will be confident of overachieving this season. 

They ranked 119th for the first time in the FIFA rankings, and they have won twice and lost six times in the last eight COSAFA games.

The Harambee Stars have had a great start, defeating Zambia in their opening game. They didn’t really control the game but were effective in front of goal, firing four shots, and all were on target. At the same time, Comoros were below par and suffered their first defeat of the tournament. 

This fixture can be unpredictable, but we expect Kenya to maintain their momentum here and get their second victory; bet on a home win in either half.

This game won’t produce lots of goals; bet on both halves under 1.5 goals for 1.67.

We expect Kenya to win or draw and score less than two goals for 1.74.
