The team finally broke their unbeaten streak of ten consecutive matches on the previous matchday. Udinese beat Sampdoria on the road, scoring the only goal of the game in the 88th minute, thanks to the efforts of Kingsley Ehizibue. This success allowed the team from Udine to climb up to seventh place in the Conference League zone. It seems likely that the seventh position is the only thing Udinese will be fighting for till the end of the current championship.

After a pause in the championship, Verona plays much better.
