Udinese vs Napoli Prediction: Will the guests be able to achieve their long-awaited goal?

Napoli failed to clinch the league title last weekend when they drew 1:1 at home to Salernitana. Will the guests be able to achieve their long-awaited goal against Udinese on the road?

The team from Udine traditionally plays out the championship at the end of the season, with no claim to qualify for the European competitions or relegation. So their poor results of late are not at all surprising. The team has only one win and three defeats in their last five games.

In the last fixture, Udinese met with Lecce, and Udinese thought they did not fight for a result. Udine's side had little to show for it, conceding a goal early in the second half that was canceled out for offside and then earning a penalty. Lecce opened the scoring and had no trouble holding on to an acceptable 1:0 result.

Everything was ready for the Napoli title celebrations, and after 62 minutes against Salernitana, when Matthias Oliveira headed home from a corner, it looked inevitable. But Napoli conceded in the 84th minute after a superb strike from Boulaye Dia and left AC Milan as the reigning champions. Napoli only needed one point to clinch the Scudetto, but the chance to celebrate the title on home soil with their fans was missed.

Napoli is unlikely to postpone taking the title. Unlike at home, the away game will be far less stressful, and they are certain to outplay Udinese, officially clinching the Scudetto. Furthermore, the statistics of the encounter with the club from Udine in recent years speak in Napoli's favor. We're betting on a solid win for Napoli, who will do everything possible to recover from their defeat at Salernita. In addition, we're betting on a high-scoring game.
