Udinese vs Atalanta Prediction: a Tough Match Between Two UCL Teams

Andrea Sottil's team hosted Verona in the previous round and managed to seal a hard-fought win. Having conceded in the first half, Udinese only got back into the game in the 70th minute - Beto scored. And when it seemed that a draw was inevitable, the Stripes scored again. On 90+3, former CSKA Moscow player Jaka Bijol got on the scoresheet. The visitors secured their sixth straight win, 2:1, and are now in the UEFA Cups. Ahead of the match against Atalanta, Udinese is third in the standings, one point behind first place. 

Last weekend Gian Piero Gasperini's team hosted Fiorentina and won. 1:0 - Ademola Lookman sent the second half's only goal, realizing an excellent pass from Luis Muriel. Atalanta is one of only two teams, along with Napoli, who have not lost so far in the new league. Bergamasca has six wins, two draws, and only three conceded goals - by far the best result in Serie A. 

Udinese won six times in a row, including beating Roma and Inter, so it will not be easy for Atalanta in the upcoming game. Most likely, Bergamasca, as they almost always do this season, will play cautiously and try not to concede. Udinese will probably possess the ball and try to break the Bergamo defense. We should not expect a lot of goals here, and the opponents may play out in peace - it's hard to pick a favorite in a pair of teams so organized at the start of the championship.
