Roma lost the previous fixture to Lazio and will now face Sassuolo on the road. Will they be able to make amends for their derby defeat?

The team had an away game against Empoli in the previous fixture. Sassuolo again failed to produce a quality attacking performance and lost 0:1. This was their fourth defeat in the last five rounds. Sassuolo is relegated to 13th place in the table and is now 10 points behind the Europa League leaders.

Last Sunday, they lost one of their most important games of the season - the derby against Lazio. The game's only goal was scored by Rui Patrício (0:1) in the middle of the first half following a significant mistake by Roma defender Ibañez. We have to wait for the derby in the second leg to see if Lazio can exact their revenge.

Roma sits fifth in the league standings, just two points behind the Champions League. They have now won eight of their 13 league games this season, and they should be able to make a decent start.

Sassuolo has lost to all their serious rivals in recent weeks - Inter (1:2), Atalanta, and Napoli (0:4). So Roma, additionally motivated by the defeat to Lazio, has an excellent chance of success. Sassuolo doesn't look like a team that is difficult to beat. We're betting on the guests to win.
