Roma vs Sampdoria Prediction: Will the Romans easily win?

Roma lost the derby to Lazio last round and now must rehabilitate themselves in front of their fans. The only opponent for Jose Mourinho's team is Sampdoria, one of the main underdogs of the current championship. Will the Romans easily win?

The Giallorossi have lost their previous two league games. Before losing in the derby against Lazio (0:1), they lost on home soil to Sassuolo (3:4). An extremely unpleasant mini-series, which, however, was brightened up by the Europa League games against Spanish Real Sociedad. Roma got past a very tough opponent (2:0 at home and 0:0 away) and reached the quarterfinals of the prestigious tournament. Clearly, European Cup battles largely influenced the team's results in the league.

Roma suffered a crucial defeat in the derby, while Sampdoria won the last match before the pause in the championship. The team beat Verona 3:1. A vital win, given that the Genoese are now in the relegation zone, nine points behind 17th place. It should also be noted that the victory over Verona was the first for Sampdoria since January 4.
