In the previous fixture, the Bianconeri confirmed their status as one of the strongest teams in the league at the moment. On the road, Monza beat Sassuolo 2:1, with Matteo Pessina, the European champion for Italy, scoring the decisive goal at the end of the game. Consequently, they have not lost in eight successive rounds, and over the last 20 matches, they finished third, behind Napoli and Lazio. They have made tremendous progress this season, sitting in eighth place in Serie A at the moment, and could well challenge for a spot in the European competitions next year.
Lecce
In the previous two rounds, they picked up vital points. Firstly, the Giallorossi drew 2:2 with Lazio and then kept the score at 0:0 at home to La Spezia. However, Lecce does not feel safe yet, only three points ahead of the relegation zone. Outside of Monza, the Red and Yellow have an away game against Bologna, and they will need to win one of those to guarantee their place in the top flight.

Lecce needs points at the end of the championship, but that hardly concerns Monza. The Red and Whites have been producing superb quality football throughout the second half of the season and have finished third in their last 20 games. That's why it's strange that the Monza win will be overpriced. We're betting on the Red and Whites, and we also assume that the match won't be very productive - only one of Lecce's 18 away matches this season has seen more than three goals scored.
