Lazio vs Roma Prediction: The guests won’t lose

Lazio sacrificed the Conference League, losing to AZ Alkmaar of the Netherlands and leaving the tournament. Now they have no margin for error in the derby against Roma. Will the Biancocelesti be able to prevent it? It should be noted that Lazio have won three of the four previous Roman derbies in which they were the formal home team.

Since 2017, there hasn't been a case where the same team has picked up both Rome derbies in the same championship. So in the upcoming game, Roma should be considered the favorite. In general, Mourinho's team looks more solid than Lazio, who, in addition, will once again be unable to rely on Ciro Immobile, which means that they could have serious attacking problems against the excellent defense of the Giallorossi. Roma also needs points more than Lazio, given that the Red and Yellow dropped out of the top four after losing to Sassuolo in the previous round.
