Juventus vs Cremonese Prediction: Will the guests be able to score?

Cremonese is now just six points behind 17th-placed Cremonese at the end of the season and is unexpectedly back in the race for survival. Will the Grays and Reds be able to surprise and score in their away game against Juventus, who will be playing after their Europa League fixture against Sevilla in Spain?

The Bianconeri have won two straight league titles, beating Lecce at home (2:1) and beating Atalanta away (2:0). Thanks to these successes, they are comfortably sitting in second place, five points ahead fifth-placed Italy. Juventus is guaranteed a place in the top four at the end of the championship.

On Thursday, Juve play their first leg of the Europa League semi-final against Sevilla. After a poor first half which ended in a 1:0 win for the Spanish side, the Turin side rearranged their game in the second half and created several chances, one of which resulted in a goal. Federico Gatti leveled the scores in the game's dying stages (1:1). They couldn't win, but a draw would have given Juve a decent chance of progressing to the tournament's final round.

The Grays and Reds, being a hopeless outsiders, have lost only one league game out of their last six and are back in the fight for survival. Cremonese's 1:1 away draw with AC Milan and home victories over La Spezia (2:0) and Empoli (1:0) are particularly noteworthy in this stretch. A six-point gap to 17th place with four rounds to go still does not promise Cremona anything good at the end of the championship.

Under Davide Ballardini, Cremonese is much better at attacking, but they concede more goals than their previous coach, Massimiliano Alvini. It is entirely possible that Juventus, who had a poor game against Sevilla, will look to take advantage of their opponents' midfield imbalance. We're betting on Juventus goals and a high-scoring game here.
