Empoli vs Juventus Prediction: Can Empoli beat Juve?

Empoli secured their place in Serie A for next season and will now take on Juventus. The Turin side lost their Europa League semi-final last week and will go into the upcoming match angry. Can Empoli beat Juve?

The team was content with a draw in last week's encounter against Sampdoria. The Blues were able to do just that. It was 1:1, and the game went into extra time when Argentinian forward Erik Lamela netted the winning goal for Sevilla (1:2).

Between the Sevilla encounter, Juventus play a home game against Cremonese in the domestic league. The Bianconeri are confidently beating a modest 2:0 to secure second place in the standings.

After being relegated from the Europa League, Juventus' only chance of qualifying for the Champions League next season is to finish in the top four in the domestic championship. To guarantee that result, all the Turin side needs to do is beat Empoli in the upcoming match. The Blues FC completed their tournament goals in the previous fixture, so Juventus will be able to lose concentration at certain points, and Max Allegri's side will be able to take advantage of that. We're betting on Juve to win, and we also assume a low-scoring game, given that almost all of the Bianconeri's away games this season have been draws.
