Atalanta vs Verona Prediction: Don’t expect many goals

Atalanta risk missing out on European competitions for the second year in a row. It seemed that the absence of international matches this season would allow the Bergamas to improve their league position and get back into the running for the Champions League. The Bianconeri should have a chance to clinch points as they are in good form at the end of the league season, and they have plenty of tournament motivation as they continue their fight for survival. The situation is very different for Bergamo, two defeats in a row have ruined their chances of competing in the Champions League, and the other European competitions probably do not motivate them as much. As a result, we suggest betting on Verona not to lose.

We shouldn't expect high goal-scoring activity from the upcoming clash. Atalanta and Verona have not played a carnival game between them in a long time, and in their last six head-to-head encounters, the bookmakers have only topped them twice in total. Now the Bergamas are again having problems in attack, which has kept them from scoring in two consecutive games. In the last four away games, the Yellow-Blues have been exclusively drawn.
