Atalanta vs Udinese Prediction: Atalanta won four of their previous five games against Udinese

Atalanta has lost four of its last five matches and will face Udinese. The team has been winless for several months, so the Bergamas seem to have an excellent chance to improve their fortunes. It should be noted that Atalanta won four of their previous five home games against Udine.

Having started the year well with a series of six matches without defeat, four of which were victories, Atalanta met with Inter in the Italian Cup and lost 0:1. Naturally, Udinese lost to all strong teams at this stage, taking points only from Lazio (0:0) and Atalanta (2:2), but that was in the first part of the championship.

In the last match before the pause for the World Cup, Udinese scored twice against Napoli. And if we take a stretch of nine games in 2023, Udine failed to score in only two meetings - with Torino, perhaps the team's worst match since the restart of the championship, and Juventus, who rarely scores. Atalanta is far from being blameless in defense, having only failed to concede in the second half of the season against a scoreless Sampdoria and Lazio, where the Romans simply could not take their chances, so Udinese may well score again. At the same time, Atalanta is likely to score more. Unlike Udine, the Bergamas are solving their ambitious tournament goals, such as qualifying for the Champions League. They have no right to lose points in games, especially at home, against mediocre teams.
