The Hungarians played two friendlies in 2024, in which they beat Turkey and Kosovo 1:0 and 2:0 respectively.

Over the last calendar year, the Greens have won only two victories, and those were obtained in the rivalry with Gibraltarians, a couple of times they played a draw, and in seven cases suffered defeat. The Magyars have much better statistics, as their last failure was almost two (!) years ago, when they lost to the Italians, after which they won nine times in 14 games with five draws. That's a great statistic! Now they are the favourites for the clash.
