Iraq will look to get back on the winning track at Asian World Cup qualifying on Thursday after their first loss in the latest edition of the competition. They're looking to reach the group stage for the first time since 1986. Iraq started the third round with two consecutive victories since they excelled in the second round, winning all their six matches and conceding only twice while scoring 19. Iraq has drawn against Kuwait in the last game, and yet, despite this draw, Iraq is still undefeated in the run of qualification campaign with only two conceded goals through eight games. It hopes to win on Thursday to qualify straight to Group.

With a challenging qualification to be done, Palestine would need to come out their best at Basra if they are to climb the group table.
