Northeast has not performed to its potential this season. They have 12 defeats to their name in 13 games. The Highlanders were close to another win in the last game against Bengaluru FC but conceded a goal in the dying minutes of the game to end their hopes. They have been good in recent games but the results are not showing. Philippoteaux was on the scoresheet for the second time in the season last week.
