The Pharaohs have won three and lost once since the beginning of the qualifiers. Egypt returned to winning ways following their (2-0) loss away to Ethiopia. They defeated Malawi (2-0) at home, and the result was followed by an emphatic (0-4) on the road. The Pharaohs sit at the top of the log with nine points from a possible fifteen. They have won their previous five games in all competitions and stand a better chance of winning the group. Egypt are the favourite going into the match, boasting a squad full of talent and experience; they will be looking to dominate possession and create chances in the attacking third.
Expert Betting Tips
Over their previous six meetings in all competitions, Egypt have won four and drawn twice. Their most recent meeting ended in a slim (1-0) victory for Egypt, who left it late in the 87th minute. Guinea are an organised side, and with the partnership of Saidou Sow and Mouctar Diakhaby at the back, we expect an even game. The Egyptians have kept three clean sheets in this round, but it will be difficult to shut out the attacking duo of Bayo and Serhou Guirassy. Both sides will be pleased with a point apiece for 2.88.
This is the most anticipated game in this group. Both sides have been remarkable since the commencement of this qualifier. With Moh Salah and Trezeguet up front for the Egyptians, it will be hard for the Guinean defence to keep them quiet. Both sides are capable of scoring; bet on BTTS for 2.00.
We expect both sides to settle for a halftime draw here for 2.00.
Good luck!
