Guinea Bissau vs Mozambique Prediction: A win is not enough for Bissau

Guinea Bissau held Eswatini to a 1-1 draw the previous time out, and their chances of qualification in the next AFCON look practically impossible. In the meantime, Guinea Bissau have failed to win any of their last four matches in this qualifier. With five points from five games, Guinea Bissau sit third in Group I standings, scoring three goals and conceding four. 

Mozambique lost to group leading Mali the previous week and will look to finish their qualifying campaign with a good result. In that game against Mali, Kamory Doumbia's 19th-minute strike was all their opponent needed to secure maximum points. In the meantime, Mozambique's first four matches in this qualifier saw them win two and draw two. In that run, they defeated Eswatini and Mozambique while being held to a draw by Mali and Eswatini in their first-leg matches. 

Mathematically, it is all hopes lost for the Guinea-Bissau team that should find it difficult to score three goals in this game, looking at how things ended for them in the past. While Mozambique will not want to disappoint themselves, I believe that they will prioritize scoring to handicap Guinea Bissau here. With both teams expected to net, I believe Mozambique have a chance to avoid a defeat in this game.
