Hearts of Lions vs Gold Stars Prediction: We anticipate a convincing victory from the hosts

With the aim of surviving relegation this season, Hearts of Lions can’t afford to drop points at the Kpando Stadium when they face off against Gold Stars on Monday.

The hosts have suffered back-to-back defeats in the league against Bofoakwa Tano and Hearts of Oak. They were defensively terrible in both games and could have done better against ten-man Hearts of Oak a few days ago. Despite the setbacks, Hearts of Lions have been impressive compared to the start of the season. 

Following their return to the Premier League after eight years in Division Two, Hearts of Lions have managed four wins in twenty-two games. Bashir Hayford remain at the bottom of the log, having secured twenty-one points from a combined sixty-six. The home side have won four, drawn five, and lost twice at home this season.

Micheal Osei's men are unbeaten in their last three games as they head here with a (2-1) victory over Bofoakwa Tano at home. Alex Aso continued his fine form for Gold Stars with one of the fastest goals of the season while extending the lead following the visitors' own goal. Bofoakwa Tano did respond with a goal, but Gold Stars held on to secure all the points. 

Gold Stars have picked up twenty-eight points this season as they sit in the danger zone. 

They have drawn four and lost seven on the road this season. 

Hearts of Lions have been playing well lately and are unbeaten in their last five games on their own turf. They look like a well-drilled side under their new coach, and we expect them to take the game to the visitors. This is a tricky encounter; even though Gold Stars are playing a Hearts of Lions who occupy the second to the last spot on the log, they can't be underestimated. It’s going to be an interesting encounter, and we think the hosts will likely get all the points for 1.79.

We also expect the hosts to get a first-half win here for 2.24.

This game should be able to produce more than two goals for 2.27.
