Asante Kotoko vs Accra Lions Prediction: The visitors can’t afford to lose back-to-back games

On Wednesday, Asante Kotoko will face off against Accra Lions at the Baba Yara Stadium. The hosts have been inconsistent but have won their last four games on their ground. They’ll lock horns against a team that won comfortably in their recent home game.

The Porcupine Warriors are back struggling after a decent eight games without a defeat. They lost on the road again as they were beaten by Karela United on the road. The loss came after their (1-0) victory over Gold Stars on their ground. 

Despite being the better and creating some significant chances, Asante Kotoko weren’t effective enough in front of goal. The hosts scored just once, while the Porcupine Warriors couldn’t penetrate the opposition defense. 

Prosper Ogun men were enjoying themselves, having gone eight games without losing; however, the recent defeats mean they’ll now assume the third spot on the log. Asante Kotoko have won five, drawn three, and lost once at home this season.

Accra Lions have won once, drawn six, and two defeats away from home. 

Asante Kotoko have an excellent record against the visitors, with four wins and a draw over their previous five games. The hosts lost their recent match on the road and their focus will be to bounce back against the visitors. However, the visitors have only lost twice on the road this season, and they’ll be determined to keep the record intact. Unfortunately, we can’t see the visitors pulling any stunt here as we think the hosts will secure the maximum points; bet on a home win and under 3.5 goals for 1.68.
