Koln vs Stuttgart Prediction: The visitors won't lose

Koln and Stuttgart will open Sunday's pool for the fourth round of the German Bundesliga. The bookmakers are on the home side's side, but let's not forget that the Magpies played an away game in the Conference League midweek.

The upcoming match will be Koln's seventh of the season. They qualified for the Conference League, from which Hungary's MOL Fejervar was eliminated. They beat Regensburg with some difficulty in the German Cup but in three Bundesliga rounds, the team picked up five points: a 3:1 victory at Schalke, 2:2 draws at Leipzig, and 1:1 draws at Eintracht. Five points keep the Goats in eighth place in the German league table.

Stuttgart beat Dynamo Dresden in the German Cup, and in three rounds of the German championship, they have picked up two points: draws with Leipzig and Werder and a minimal defeat by Freiburg in the derby. Such several points allow them to occupy 12th place in the championship standings, although they are only one point above Hertha, who is situated in the transition zone.

 Koln is very good at home. They are a home team, but let's not forget that the future hosts played a tough away game in midweek against Hungarian MOL Fejervar and will now represent Germany in the group stage of the Conference League. For their part, Stuttgart had a week to prepare for the upcoming game after the derby defeat. And the loss against Freiburg is extra motivation for the team, so we can assume that the visitors won't lose on Sunday.
