Bayern vs Werder Prediction: Expect the home team to win

The next opponent for the German champions in the Bundesliga will be Werder, newcomers to the elite. Quite reasonably, considering Bayern's current form, the bookmakers favour the future hosts in the pairing.

Bayern won again in the last round, but this time the Reds didn't beat anyone - the match against Hertha ended in a 3:2 victory, with Bayern leading 3:0 throughout the game, and all the goals in the match were scored in the first half. After 13 rounds, Bayern has 28 points, a 4-match winning streak in the German championship. Bayern's home statistics are fifth in the division, +4=2-0, 20:5 goal difference; in their last three games in the BC, Bayern scored 15 goals and conceded twice.

After a 3-match losing streak in two competitions, Werder has won two games in the Bundesliga. First, the Musicians beat Hertha and then Schalke. Both games were home matches. Thanks to these results, Werder is now one point behind sixth-placed Leipzig. The team is fifth in the division away, and they have picked up 11 points in six games, losing just once and conceding eight goals in six games.

After 4:0 over Bayer, 6:2 over Mainz, and 5:0 each over Victoria and Freiburg, we somehow cannot believe that Werder won't devastatingly lose in Munich. Bayern is too good now and is fighting for the top spot with Union. Therefore, we will not predict any positive for Werder; the maximum that the Musicians can do is to score a goal in the country's south.
