Genk vs Kortrijk Prediction: League leaders will not drop points this time

However, Genk's last league game was against St. Truiden, and they settled for a 2-2 draw. This season, Genk have 35 points from 16 matches, leaving them seated at the top of the standings. 

Kortrijk's last encounter was in the Belgian Cup, and they lost to Antwerp. In that encounter, this team held their opponent to a goalless draw at full time and in the extra time before losing 3-4 on penalties. However, Kortrijk's last league game was against KV Mechelen, and they secured a 3-1 win. Yet, the visiting team has lost four of their last five games in all competitions. This season in the league, Kortrijk have 17 points from a possible 48, leaving them seated 14th.

Despite their strong performance in the first leg of this game, I do not see Kortrijk having a chance in this one. However, Genk have a lot to give, as they have struggled lately despite their very brilliant start to the season. The two teams have a lot to give, but Genk are on a good level and should win this game. Also, while the two home teams have been brilliant offensively, a bet on goals is another option to consider.
