Gambia vs Tunisia Prediction: We anticipate a dry spell of goals here

Gambia will hope for a better outcome in their upcoming AFCON Qualifier when they face off against Tunisia at the Stade El Abdi Stadium on Sunday. This game will be held in Morocco, and we think the absence of home advantage could be a blessing in disguise for Tunisia.

However, they’ve turned a new leaf lately, heading here without a defeat in six games. Tunisia boasts of one of the best defenses in the ongoing FIFA World Cup qualifiers, but they have been ineffective in front of goal. 

Tunisia began their journey in this tournament with a slim (1-0) victory over Madagascar, as Ferjani Sassi came from the bench to rescue his side. The victory means Faouzi Benzarti's men have now scored five times in ten games.

Tunisia finished top in their group last season, winning four of their six matches, and they are looking like they’ll replicate the same result here. 

Gambia have won once against Tunisia in the AFCON group stage. The hosts have not been at their best lately, as their only victory in ten games have come against a struggling Seychelles side. Gambia were above par in their opening game, and they’ll be determined to keep up with such momentum. On the opposing end, Tunisia have been solid defensively, but little has happened for them upfront. They are undefeated at full-time over their last six games, and we are confident they won’t lose this fixture.
