Stade Brestois vs Marseille Prediction: Will the hosts be able to repeat their success?

For the second time in a row, Marseille will close out their Ligue 1 fixture. The home side took points from Marseille last season - can they repeat their success?

Brestois finished in the middle of the table at the end of last season and should have no significant problems in the current league. Some key players have returned from loan to their clubs, but Ronaël Pierre-Gabriel, Lucien Agoumé, and Martin Satriano cannot be called irreplaceable. The team is now gradually recruiting newcomers.

Alexis Sanchez recently joined Marseille and, before that, Jordan Veretout, Nuno Tavares, Jonathan Clauss, Cancel Mbemba, and Luis Suárez, as well as signing Arkadiusz Milik, Cengiz Onder, and Matteo Gendouzi.

The newcomer to the club was one of the main heroes of the first round. Thanks to a Luis Suarez goal, Marseille beat Reims (4:1). In this way, Igor Tudor's side broke their four-match losing streak. Marseille had suffered three defeats during this period.

The current visitors have had big problems at the start of the season, and it is not a fact that Igor Tudor has solved everything in the shortest possible time. Marseille is a home side that creates far more chances at home than away. In terms of selection of players, the Provençal side is better than Brest, which did not prevent them from playing poorly in their summer friendlies. The hosts took points from Marseille on the road, but they can count on at least a draw on home soil.
