Fortaleza vs LDU Quito Prediction: It’s time for the great Final

It’s time for the great final of this season Copa Sudamericana. Fortaleza and LDU Quito will fight tonight for the glory, even though these teams weren’t listed among the biggest title contenders at the start of the competition. Fortaleza are a team that has existed for over a century and yet this is the first opportunity for this team to win a continental trophy. LDU Quito on the other hand have already tasted what it’s like to win such a trophy. The final will be played on neutral ground in Uruguay in the stadium Domingo Burgueno Miguel in Maldonado, Uruguay.

Even though they lost in the last two matches in the domestic league, Vojvoda’s team this season is playing amazingly, especially in the defense. In their last 6 matches of this competition, they never let other teams score more than a goal against them. In the rematch in Argentina, Defensa y Justicia were dominant and tried to make a miracle, but LDU Quito didn’t give up and with 0:0 they won on aggregate to reach their 3rd finals of Copa Sudamericana. In their first final, they won the trophy in 2009 but lost 2 years later. They are undefeated in their last 5 matches with 3 wins and 2 draws, their form is on a great level, and of course, they are hoping to repeat the great performance from the semi-final matches again in this final.

This will be the first ever match between these teams, in fact this is first time Fortaleza to face a team from Ecuador.
