Manchester United vs Chelsea Prediction: Expect another draw?

Manchester United will face Chelsea at home in a rescheduled match on Matchday 32 of the English Championship. There is an exciting trend in the personal meetings between the teams: in recent seasons, the teams failed to determine the strongest. Will it be another draw in a head-to-head encounter, or will United manage to outplay their crisis rivals at home?

Manchester United rehabilitated themselves after two straight defeats to Brighton and West Ham (0:1). They were unbeaten in their two EPL games. First, the Red Devils scored two unanswered goals against Wolverhampton at home and then achieved a narrow 1:0 win over Bournemouth on the road. With 69 points, they sit fourth, one point behind Newcastle United, and one game to play.

Chelsea's only positive performance under Frank Lampard came in an away game against Bournemouth. In that encounter, the Aristocrats clinched a 3:1 win. Previously, there had been a six-game losing streak in all competitions. After a successful trip to the Cherries, the London side lost at home to Nottingham Forest (2:2), and on the road, they lost to Manchester City (0:1). The Aristocrats are 12th in the English league table.

The Aristocrats are coming off a disappointing season. For Manchester United, the upcoming game is more important. Newcastle United lost two points in a draw with Leicester City, and if they win, the Red Devils will move up to third place in the EPL table. It should not be forgotten that United has been strong at home in the campaign under Ten Hague. Thanks to the excellent results at home, the Mancunians are very close to a return to the Champions League - they need one point in the remaining two games. We can bet on a win for the home side and a draw.
