Reading vs Preston North End Prediction: Will we see another positive result from the home side?

Reading will face Preston North End in round 20 of the Champions League. The Royals have five wins in their last six home games. Reading also have excellent statistics in most of their home matches on Friday. Will we see another positive result from the home side?

After beating Bristol City 2:0, Paul Ince's side picked up just one point in the next two rounds of the Championships. The Royals suffered a 1:2 away defeat at Burnley and a 0:0 draw with Luton Town. As a result, the team dropped out of the top 10. Reading is now 11th in the table (26 points).

After a 2:4 away defeat at the hands of Blackpool, Preston North End beat twice in a row to delight their fans with a positive showing in the Champions League. They were stronger than Middlesbrough (2:1) and Swansea City (1:0). Those results lifted Ryan Law's side to eighth place in the table (28 points).

Reading has excellent statistics for Friday's performances - six wins and one draw in their last seven home games on the day. In addition, the Royals have beaten the opponents five times in their previous six games at home. Bookmakers believe in a winning outcome for Paul Ince's side. The Royals have only one positive result in the last five rounds of the Championships; they will be motivated enough to get back on a winning track. We can expect a pretty tight contest with a lot of cards.
