Marti Cifuentes' tenure as QPR manager has been a mixed bag, with only six wins in his 20 matches across all competitions. Despite this, he has managed to keep the team in contention to avoid relegation, thanks to their recent run of 11 points from a possible 18. Their only defeat came against Stoke City, but the team bounced back with a crucial 1-0 victory over Bristol City. Cifuentes is cautious about their form, as they have not won consecutive games since December 9. However, their next match against struggling Rotherham presents an opportunity to end this streak.
Assuming no new fitness concerns arise, Cifuentes is unlikely to make any changes to his QPR starting lineup. Jack Colback and Joe Hodge provide alternative options in midfield for a more attacking setup. Lyndon Dykes and Michael Frey appear to be ahead of Sinclair Armstrong in the attacking hierarchy.
Queens Park Rangers Predicted Lineup
Begovic; Dunne, Cook, Clarke-Salter, Paal; Hayden, Field; Willock, Andersen, Chair; Dykes
Rotherham United form
Rotherham's hopes of staying in the Championship seem bleak, as they are facing relegation back to League One for the upcoming season. Despite showing spirit in a recent 4-3 loss to Ipswich Town, they have gone 10 games without a win, including five consecutive losses in the league. With only 13 games left, Rotherham is almost certainly relegated, but a win against QPR could give them a much-needed boost to fight against the odds.
Ollie Rathbone is expected to be absent for Rotherham after a collision with advertising boards during their last game, with Femi Seriki potentially stepping in as a replacement. Cameron Humphreys and Cafu are also potential options to return to the defence and midfield respectively.
Rotherham United Predicted Lineup
Johansson; Odoffin, Morrison, Peltier; Kioso, Tiehi, Rinomhota, Clucas; Seriki, Hugill, Eaves
