QPR did bounce back from their 3-1 defeat at West Bromwich Albion with a 2-2 draw against Sheffield United, having won 2-1 against Cambridge United in the EFL Cup earlier. This now puts pressure on Cifuentes to ensure they get their first league win of the season as they welcome them to Loftus Road, looking to climb out of the bottom end of the league table.
Queens Park Rangers Predicted Lineup
Nardi; Dunne, Cook, Clarke-Salter, Paal; Varane, Field; Dembele, Smyth, Saito; Frey
Plymouth Argyle form
Following up the 4-0 defeat at Sheffield Wednesday in the opening weekend of the campaign, Wayne Rooney and his Plymouth side needed a response. They did so with a 3-0 victory over Cheltenham Town in the EFL Cup, although it took them well over an hour to break the deadlock. The following 1-1 draw with Hull City was a good point gained, not least because they are now unbeaten in five at Home Park. But Plymouth have not fared well in their last three Championship away games, losing all three without finding the net while letting in eight goals.
Plymouth Argyle Predicted Lineup
Hazard; Edwards, Gibson, Galloway, Mumba; Randell, Forshaw; Whittaker, Bundu, Cissoko; Hardie
Queens Park Rangers vs Plymouth Argyle Expert Tips
QPR's Jack Colback was primed for inclusion in the starting lineup, but his red card against Sheffield United changed it all. Jonathan Varane may get another chance to impress, while Lyndon Dykes could also come into the starting lineup after his last-gasp equalizer last time out. Paul Smyth may also replace Lucas Andersen, who went off in the first half. Wayne Rooney may stand by the same Plymouth XI which drew with Hull last time out, as Cissoko is expected to keep his place. It means that Darko Gyabi and Frederick Issaka are likely to warm the bench. The teams are coming from decent draws, hence with all targeting a win in this match. The home team might have the edge, especially if they start strongly to put the visitors on the back foot.
