Premier League Palace was the casualty of QPR's run of six matches without losing, one that ended on Tuesday in the EFL Cup. Eberechi Eze starred in a win for the top-flight side, although Sam Field gave QPR the lead, was the man who set up Eddie Nketiah to score and who also scored himself to send QPR's cup ambitions and their streak to seven ends. Cifuentes had taken his team to three wins and three draws before this loss and so far, they have been on an unbeaten run for four matches in the Championship, drawing 1-1 with Sheffield Wednesday recently. QPR has six points from five matches and is up at 12th place in the classification, with a relatively stable record of scoring and conceding in each match. And QPR has had a good comeback ability, accumulating five points from losing positions this season, showed very great resilience on the ground.
Queens Park Rangers Predicted Starting XI

Millwall form
Millwall went into their EFL Cup match without playing, following a shock 3-2 loss at the hands of Leyton Orient. They had looked to build on a 3-0 win over Sheffield Wednesday in the Championship ahead of the international break but, instead, were given a hostile welcome when Teden Mengi scored for Luton Town after just 10 minutes, as they failed to come from behind partly due to early injuries.
Manager Neil Harris was not looking to be briefing that they have been the better side by losing at home to Luton, saying his team has the effort to win three points but didn't have the precision. Millwall is in 18th place in the table which is partly down to a slow start. They boast the best goal difference of the sides with four points and have scored the most goals in the bottom half of the league.
The teams had 2-0 wins in their earlier meetings against QPR for both the sides at home. Millwall won at Loftus Road in February 2023 when they faced QPR for 2-1. However, it remained their solitary success in the last 12 visits to QPR's ground.
Millwall Probable Starting XI
Jensen; Leonard, Tanganga, Hutchinson, Bryan; Saville, De Norre; Esse, Honeyman, Watmore; Langstaff
Queens Park Rangers vs Millwall Expert Tips
QPR games often seem to go with both teams scoring goals, so you would expect Millwall, a side that has clearly been more effective in scoring this season than a couple of the other sides in the half of the table QPR occupies, to use QPR's tired legs following their recent EFL Cup matches to see off the midlanders. This season has proven tough on Cifuentes's team, and it is no easy feat that they have managed to put up with it and still look likely to continue their unbeaten run and tendency to draw matches in a high-scoring deadlock. Take a double chance on the away side.
