Queens Park Rangers vs Blackburn Rovers Prediction: Both the teams have not found their feet in the league this year

Queens Park Rangers will welcome Blackburn Rovers at Kiyan Prince Foundation Stadium in Game Week 11 of the English Championship. Both the teams have not found their feet in the league this year. Who will come out on top after 90 minutes?

During the current season, there were moments when QPR seemed to be making small improvements under Gareth Ainsworth. However, following consecutive draws with Swansea City and Birmingham City, they went on to suffer defeats against Coventry City and Leeds United. Although losing only 1-0 against Leeds United can be seen as a positive, it is worth noting that QPR has lost six out of their ten league games so far this season. Additionally, they have only managed to score eight goals and have not scored more than twice in a game since Ainsworth became the manager in March. While criticism of Ainsworth is justified, there is potential for a better mood at Loftus Road if they can achieve their first home win since March 11. Queens Park Rangers may see goalkeeper Jordan Archer make his first start of the Championship season due to Asmir Begovic's suspension. However, this is dependent on winning an appeal, which QPR expects to do. Additionally, there may be further changes to the lineup, with Albert Adomah potentially being selected as the right wing-back instead of Paul Smyth. Ainsworth also has the option of using Lyndon Dykes in the center of the attack over Sinclair Armstrong, who has only scored once in the Championship this season. 

The possible starting lineup for Queens Park Rangers could be Archer, Kakay, Cook, Clarke-Slater, Adomah, Colback, Field, Dozzell, Paal, Chair, and Dykes. 

On the other hand, Jon Dahl Tomasson is facing challenges in retaining control at Blackburn, as they have suffered four consecutive defeats in the Championship. Despite winning three times in the EFL Cup and reaching the last 16, their performance in the league has been subpar, with 11 goals conceded in just three matches. Losing 1-0 against Coventry City in the closing minutes was unfortunate for Tomasson and his team, but it is concerning that Blackburn has only won four of their last 19 Championship matches. Despite hopes of another promotion challenge, the possibility of being in the relegation zone after the upcoming weekend looms over the team during the international break.

As a result of Adam Wharton's groin issue, Sondre Tronstad might feature in the Blackburn midfield, possibly alongside Lewis Travis, who was placed on the substitutes' bench in the previous match against Coventry. Arnor Sigurdsson could be included in the lineup as well, but the defense may remain the same considering the improvements shown against the Sky Blues. 

Blackburn Rovers, on the other hand, might start with Wahlstedt, Hill, Carter, Hyam, Brittain, Sigurdsson, Travis, Tronstad, Moran, Dolan, and Szmodics. 

This match is expected to be tense, especially for QPR, who are making limited progress under Ainsworth. Both teams might be satisfied with a draw, but Blackburn could take advantage of the closing stages to score a winning goal. Over 2.5 goals are expected in this game.
