Oxford United vs Burnley Prediction: Burnley aim to get three points

Oxford United will host Burnley at The Kassam Stadium during Match Day 7 of the English Championship. Burnley aim to get three points from this game. And who will take victory in 90 minutes? 

Oxford would hope at least for the whole season that they avoid relegation since it appears that they took a very long time playing at lower divisions. They have been keen at home with victories against Norwich City, Preston North End, and Stoke City, but unfortunately, have lost a few games away. Consequently, Burnley will have a test on their hands in trying to stop Oxford's winning streak at home.

While the season so far has not gone according to plan for Burnley, as they had to fight for every point -- proving to be an unbelievable 2-1 win against Portsmouth - things are looking okay again following their last game's win over Leeds United. Scott Parker's team is facing competition tougher than expected. But having played some of the toughest opponents this season, in terms of performance at least, they should be optimistic about the rest of the season.

Josh McEachran's injury will see Will Vaulks start for Oxford against Bristol City. Malcolm Ebiowei is an option, but the Oxford lineup is unlikely to change much this time around. Burnley may continue to make changes to their starting lineup, but Bashir Humphreys returns from suspension and may start on the right side of the back four. Jeremy Sarmiento might feature in the attack too. Oxford are terrific at the Kassam Stadium, but we still think Burnley to win this game.
