Millwall enter the 2024-25 season with sky-high expectations, as they finished the previous campaign with five straight wins. In stark contrast, however, things had completely gone the other way in the first six weeks when Millwall had only one victory and five points. Fortunately, Neil Harris' side seems to be picking up lately, accumulating five points in the last four games, including a 3-0 win against Sheffield Wednesday and draws against Hull City and Queens Park Rangers.

Millwall vs Preston North End Expert Tips
Millwall will miss Billy Mitchell, Tom Bradshaw, and Josh Coburn for this match. Harris may opt to retain the same starting eleven which he used in the previous game against QPR, and Mihailo Ivanovic can come in on the front line to make his full debut. On the other hand, Heckingbottom might modify some players in the XI as Sam Greenwood will not play this game. Holmes or Keane may be back into the attacking mix with other things remaining same. Milan Osmajic will probably not feature in this game due to his altercation with Blackburn's Owen Beck where he is under probe. Although Preston are far from home in the league at the moment, they did come back with some good points from the recent draw at Middlesbrough. Tonight, we are in for another tight encounter in the capital and our prediction's to be Preston.
