Ipswich has successfully recovered from their mid-season struggle with three consecutive wins in the Championship. They emerged victorious in away games against Millwall and Swansea City and then defeated Rotherham United at Portman Road. The team has scored a total of 67 goals in 16 league matches at their home ground, with a recent seven-goal spectacle against Rotherham. Kieffer Moore, Omari Hutchinson, and Wes Burns secured the win with their goals. Despite a difficult period earlier in the season, Ipswich has earned nine points in their last three games. They currently sit in the playoff positions in the league table, just behind Leeds United on goal difference. Similar to their successful League One campaign in 2022-23, Ipswich has made Portman Road a difficult place for visiting teams. Despite striker George Hirst's absence due to injury, the addition of Kieffer Moore on loan from Bournemouth has been a valuable one, with Moore scoring four goals in as many starts for Ipswich.
Ipswich Town Predicted Lineup

Birmingham City form
After suffering three consecutive defeats on the road to Leicester City, West Bromwich Albion, and Sheffield Wednesday, Birmingham managed to boost their survival hopes with back-to-back victories against Blackburn Rovers and Sunderland at St Andrew's @ Knighthead Park. Despite Jack Clarke of Sunderland scoring first in front of a packed Second City crowd, Birmingham fought back in the second half to secure a win, with goals from Jordan James and Koji Miyoshi in front of an ecstatic Tilton Road end. The recent wins have been somewhat overshadowed by news of Tony Mowbray stepping back from his managerial role at Birmingham for up to eight weeks to seek medical treatment, leaving assistant coach Mark Venus in charge. Birmingham's away record has been a cause for concern this season, with only 11 points collected in 16 away matches and 30 goals conceded. With a six-point lead over 22nd-placed Queens Park Rangers, Birmingham will be looking to continue their resurgence under Venus's leadership in Mowbray's absence.
Birmingham City Predicted Lineup
Ruddy; Drameh, Roberts, Bielik, Laird; Dozzell, Paik, Miyoshi, Roberts, James; Stansfield
Ipswich Town vs Birmingham City Expert Tip
Ipswich has a history of scoring many goals at Portman Road, and we anticipate that this trend will continue when Birmingham travels to East Anglia this weekend. While Birmingham has the ability to challenge Ipswich, we believe that an open match will probably result in a win for the home team.
