Hull City will entertain Sunderland in Matchweek 10 of the English Championship. Sunderland top the table. Who do you think will win at full time?
Hull City Form
Having finished last season seventh, and that the Championship, not by marginally missing out on the playoffs but just three points from them, Hull City are keen to finish in the top six this season and hopefully be one of those teams promoted up to the Premier League. Seemed to lift them out of the rut as they showed signs of improvement with three successive wins during the last few weeks although a 4-0 loss to Norwich before the international break served as a stark reminder.
Although its defense was solid, as it managed to shut out Norwich for the entire game, Hull could not find a way to beat their opponent and had to lose the match 0-4. Hull City is placed at 13th in the Championship. It is four points behind Watford in sixth position and five points ahead of Queens Park Rangers in 22nd.

Sunderland recent Form
After Sunderland had a rather underwhelming season in 2023-24 finishing in the 16th position, the club is back on track to winning their way into the Premier League in this 2024-25 season. Mainly due to their French coach Regis Le Bris and the great group of youthful prospects that he has developed, Sunderland recent encountered Derby County and showed promise with a win. Not long afterwards, they were able to resist Leeds United that ended in a 2-2 draw coming at the expense of an own goal by Illan Meslier. Among the standout strikers from the game was 17-year-old Chris Rigg who scored the opener and now biting at the heels of the top-tier clubs that include Manchester United and Liverpool. With such a stringent run of games, Sunderland is still allowed to place itself at the top of the Championship table - level pegging with Sheffield United, who have lost two points due to a points deduction right at the start of the season.

Hull City vs Sunderland Expert Tips
Even though Hull showed signs of resilience in some of their recent matches before the break, they have been embarrassing at times against better teams in the Championship. That's what is expected to happen on Sunday as well when Sunderland visits the MKM Stadium. The visitors drew 1-1 with Leeds after a tight game, and they will be bouncing from that away point, hoping to take that win back home against Hull.
