Coventry City vs Leeds United Prediction: Leeds need a win to keep pressure on Ipswich

Coventry will welcome Leeds at Coventry Building Society Arena in Game Week 41 of the English Championship. Leeds need a win to keep pressure on Ipswich. Who will come out on top after 90 minutes?

From the perspective of Coventry, they are currently dealing with the distraction of an upcoming FA Cup semi-final against Manchester United on April 21. This is their chance to possibly make it to the final for the first time in over thirty years. Despite this, Mark Robins, the team's coach, is more focused on their performance in the league. Coventry recently ended a three-game winning streak in the second tier. In their last match against Cardiff City on Easter Monday, Ellis Simms scored a goal to put the Sky Blues in the lead, but defender Liam Kitching scored two own goals, resulting in a loss. With important games against Leeds and fourth-placed Southampton coming up in a three-day period, Coventry is currently four points behind sixth place in the league. Robins is aware of the increasing pressure as he aims to lead the team to the playoffs for the second consecutive year.

 Even though Coventry lost to Cardiff, there may not be many changes to their starting lineup. Victor Torp and Callum O'Hare could be added to the midfield, but Jamie Allen and Tatsuhiro Sakamoto are out due to injuries.

Daniel Farke will be focusing on Leeds' own performances, as they have recorded 13 wins and two draws in the 15 matches played since the start of the year. 

Joel Piroe and Mateo Joseph are options for Patrick Bamford in attack, but no other changes are anticipated. Stuart Dallas, Pascal Struijk, Ilia Gruev, and Wilfried Gnonto could remain sidelined.
