Cardiff City vs Watford Prediction: Watford are on a three-game losing streak

Cardiff City will welcome Watford at Cardiff City Stadium in Game Week 11 of the English Championship. Watford are on a three-game losing streak. Who will come out on top after 90 minutes?

In a rare occurrence, everyone involved with Cardiff City seems to be working together towards the common goal of returning to the Premier League. The team has already established an eight-point lead over the relegation zone and is now aiming for promotion after a four-match winning streak. They achieved victories against Swansea City, Coventry City, Sunderland, and Rotherham United. However, their winning streak came to an end with a 2-0 loss to Middlesbrough. This was the first time under manager Erol Bulut that Cardiff failed to score in a Championship match, also breaking their streak of two consecutive clean sheets. Despite the absence of Aaron Ramsey, Cardiff is likely to make some changes to their starting lineup for this game. Mahlon Romeo is expected to return at right-back, replacing Ebou Adams who might be relegated to the bench. Ike Ugbo is also expected to regain his position in the center of the attack, as Kion Etete is currently injured.

The possible starting lineup for Cardiff City could be Alnwick in goal, Romeo, Goutas, McGuinness, and Ng in defense, Wintle, Siopis, and Ralls in midfield, and Tanner, Ugbo, and Grant in attack. 

 Many expected Watford to make a change in management following their decline under Valerien Ismael. Despite only one win in their last eight games, the Pozzo Family decided to offer Ismael a new contract due to positive developments behind the scenes. However, a 2-0 defeat to Sunderland has resulted in three consecutive losses for Watford, leaving them in 21st place. They have struggled in away games this season, losing three out of four matches and scoring only three goals. Ismael needs to turn things around to secure his position at the club, regardless of the recent contract extension. Due to Ryan Andrews' suspension, Jeremy Ngakia is likely to continue at right-back for Watford. Ismael Kone and Yaser Asprilla may also be recalled to the starting lineup, potentially replacing Tom Dele-Bashiru and Tom Ince. Mileta Rajovic could make a comeback as the central attacker. 

For Watford, Bachmann could start in goal, with Ngakia, Porteous, Hoedt, and Lewis in defense, Louza, Sierralta, and Kone in midfield, and Asprilla, Rajovic, and Chakvetadze in attack.
