Bristol City have managed to win only one of their last six Championship matches with the draw against Sheffield Wednesday hurting the fans the most. Head coach Liam Manning defends his players saying that they gave a reason for winning with the effort and chances they created today. Presently, the team is currently at 13th place in the Championship table with 10 points gained from eight games, five points behind Blackburn Rovers, and three points ahead of Queens Park Rangers. Bristol City recruited Sinclair Armstrong and Fally Mayulu from nowhere after losing a top goal scorer to Middlesbrough. Both have scored two league goals each for the club so far. Bristol City has been excellent thus far here at Ashton Gate and will look to extend their five games here without losing against Cardiff.

Cardiff City form
Cardiff City finally won the first of the 2024-25 Championship, with their eight test, with a one-goal triumph over Millwall before a 15,000 crowd at Cardiff City Stadium. The perfect pass from Joe Ralls to Perry Ng proved the winner from a set piece. The win, however, did not make much difference in Cardiff's position at the bottom of the league as they were still four points behind Preston North End in 21st position. Interim manager Omer Riza was appointed since the departure of Erol Bulut and is hoping to secure a permanent post; he does feel optimistic about his work. The next match, against Bristol City, will be decisive for Cardiff as this would allow them to maintain the winning streak in the Championship.

Bristol City v Cardiff City Expert Predictions
Bristol City will look to finish the contest held to a draw by Sheffield Wednesday on Sunday. Even with Cardiff's confidence boosted after their victory over Millwall, it is hard to see them achieve an upset here in the West Country.
