Blackpool (1-0) started its championship campaign with a win against Reading in the opening game. They soon lost their momentum and lost two games in a row against Stoke City (2-0) and Swansea (1-0). Blackpool struggled a lot to secure their 2nd win against QPR in the 4th game where they won by (1-0).
