In action for the 2023 COSAFA Cup on Sunday, Group B game 2 features Zambia and Comoros square off against one another at the King Zwelithini Stadium in Durban, South Africa. As a result of losing their first match, Zambia are in a difficult situation in which they need to win this match. On the other hand, the Comoros will try to build on their victory over the Seychelles.

Malawi defeated the Copper Bullets of Zambia 1-0 on the first day of competition. Their first game came to an end thanks to an own goal by Aaron Katebe, making their efforts useless. Even if The Copper Bullets now view this event as one of their highest priorities, they will still compete in it with the expectation of a successful outcome. However, when looking back at their previous encounters, Zambia now has three wins in their last five matches. These victories came in the qualifiers for the AFCON against Lesotho twice and Ivory Coast once. After such a lackluster performance, head coach Moses Sichone may decide to make some adjustments to his starting lineup for this game.
Comoros - a nightmare for the Coelacanths
The final score of the match between Comoros and Seychelles was 3-0 in Comoros' favor. Affane Djambae's goal, scored 27 minutes into the game, gave the Coelacanths the lead. Ibroihim Djoudja then extended their lead 12 minutes after that. Raidou Bacar added a third goal for the team coached by Vivian Bothe in the 59th minute, as Seychelles, the team with the lowest ranking in the competition, were no match for the team. Comoros are presently in the lead in Group B, having moved ahead of Malawi in the standings thanks to a superior goal difference. If they were to win again this weekend, it would virtually guarantee that they would advance to the next round.
Head-Head Statistics
Only three times in the course of history have Zambia and Comoros competed against one another, and each time, Zambia came out on top. In the past, Zambia and Comoros have only competed against one another in qualifying matches for the Africa Cup of Nations. The first match between the two teams was played in September 2010, and Zambia triumphed 4-0. A year later, Zambia won the second match by a close 2-1 margin away from home. After that, Zambia established their dominance over Comoros by claiming a 2-1 victory at home in June of the previous year. After losing their previous four matches in a row, the Comoros have now won two straight. In two of their most recent three matches, Zambia came out on the losing end and failed to score.
Expert Betting Tips
Although Zambia has a fantastic track record in this competition, their performance as of late has not been particularly impressive. In the meantime, the Comoros are riding high on a wave of self-assurance following their dominant victory on the first day of the cup competition. However, Comoros' victory came against a team with lower overall quality, and Zambia will not make things simple for them in this match. Despite the fact that Zambia's offense has been struggling as of late, I have faith that the Copper Bullets will have a good opportunity to bounce back to where they were before in this match.
