Estudiantes vs Grêmio

It's a game between heavyweights, as both clubs have won the Copa Libertadores several times in their history. After a shaky start to Group C, with two defeats in their first two games, Grêmio must at least bring home a point from Argentina. Huachipato and Estudiantes lead the way with four points, and another defeat for the Brazilians will probably mean their elimination. The team from La Plata is in good form and will be a tricky opponent for Grêmio.

The Lion is second in the Argentine Primera División and second in Copa Libertadores Group C. Estudiantes is high on confidence with five victories in the last five league matches. In its previous game, the Pincha beat Barraca Central 3-0 at home with two goals from Guido Carrillo. In the Copa Libertadores, the Argentinians beat The Strongest at home and drew away to Huachipato, so, for now, everything is well on the way to qualifying for the knockout stage. Beating Grêmio would be a giant step towards the Round of 16.
Grêmio
The Immortal seems to have found the right direction after two straight home wins in the Brasileirão. The most significant aspect of these two triumphs was the fact that the team didn't concede a goal. Since August last year, Grêmio hadn't gone two games in a row without conceding a goal in the Série A. Renato Portaluppi has fine-tuned the team's defensive strategy, bringing the players closer together, joining the lines of the sectors and pressing the opponents when they have possession. The Brazilians need to pick up a point in Argentina and, if possible, get the three points they desperately need. It's a crucial game for Grêmio, currently bottom of Group C.
Expert Betting Tips
Estudiantes is going through a moment of great confidence, so it won't be easy for Grêmio to secure a point. The Brazilians are under pressure as they are bottom of Group C with zero points. It will take a perfect display for the Porto Alegre side to win. The home team is more comfortable and could knock Grêmio out of the race for qualification, but the Immortal will fight for survival. I'm taking a Double Chance on Grêmio.
