Estudiantes vs Atletico Paranaense Prediction: Don't expect many goals

Estudiantes will face Atletico Paranaense in the return leg of the Libertadores Cup quarter-final. The first leg ended in a 0:0 draw. Let's have a look at the opponents' form and find out what to bet on. 

Estudiantes beat another Brazilian club, Fortaleza, in the Libertadores Cup play-offs before facing Atletico Paranaense. The first meeting in Brazil ended in a 1:1 draw. Still, in the return leg at home, Estudiantes beat their opponents (3:0). An away draw against Atlético Paranaense in the first leg of the quarter-final was a success for Estudiantes.

Atlético Paranaense was ahead of Estudiantes in the Libertadores Cup round of 16 against Libertad from Paraguay. The Brazilian side was 2:1 stronger in their home encounter but managed to avoid a 1:1 defeat in the return leg in Paraguay. In the quarter-final against Estudiantes, Atletico Paranaense could hardly be considered a success. Although the team was more dangerous than their opponents, they failed to score (0:0), so they will now find it difficult to win on the road.

We won't risk getting into the outcome in the upcoming encounter. Estudiantes will have home-field advantage, but they look worse than their opponent of late. In the first game, the teams didn't take any chances and did not score goals at all - we'll probably see a similar picture here. So, we don't expect a goal extravaganza.
