Club Deportivo El Nacional vs Nacional Potosí Prediction: Likely to Have a One Sided Finish

In the opening fixture of the qualification round of Copa Libertadores Leg 2, Club Deportivo El Nacional will take on Nacional Potosi at the Estadio Olímpico Atahualpa in Quito. With the Ecuador club leading the aggregate by quite a significant margin, the upcoming fixture is likely to be a one-sided encounter. However, Nacional Potosi has recovered from the previous blow, the upcoming fixture is likely to test Nacional’s attack in an away fixture. What will be best for Nacional Potosi is to forget the previous fixture and move in with positive spirits. 

After resuming in the field, Deportivo El Nacional played Nacional Potosí, and successfully managed to register a comprehensive win (1-6). El Nacional progressing with a 4-4-2 formation, Carrillo and Ordonez led the attack in the previous outing and managed to bag goals upfront. Jorge Ordonez started the proceedings by scoring the first goal in the 5th minute of play. Next, Jhonnier Chala and Ronie Carrillo scored goals in quick time. Maicon Solis and Gustavo scored in the second half of play. Considering the upcoming home fixture, El Nacional will be likely to score over 2.5 goals and continue its winning run against Nacional Potosi.

After losing to El Nacional (1-6), Nacional managed to win against Blooming (3-0) in the Bolivian Primera Division fixture. In the outing against Blooming, Martin Prost and Tommy Tobar Reyes scored goals. However, no such individual performance was seen in the previous matches for Nacional Potosi. Moreover, the inconsistent game form is also a concern for Nacional Potosi, as they look to align their ranks for the upcoming away fixture against El Nacional. If Potosi levels the aggregate scoreline, El Nacional will proceed with the qualification. Hence, El Nacional will have to win on aggregate scoreline, and for that it will have to score at least 6 or more goals. Scoring 6 or more goals seems quite unrealistic, however, Gustavo Cristaldo, Maximiliano Nunez, and Martin Prost will be backing themselves to score.
