Celtic vs Aberdeen Prediction: The road team can not be written off

Celtic will play Aberdeen at Celtic Park in week 8 of the Scottish Premiership game. Heading into this game, the two teams ended on the winning end the last time out. Which side keeps things running?

Celtic last match was against Sligo Rovers in a friendly encounter and secured a 2-3 win. In that game, Luis Palma put this team in the 9th minute from the spot but went behind just 8 minutes later. In the meantime, Luis Palma scored twice in the game's last minutes to complete a hat trick while also turning the tables for Celtic. However, in their previous league game, Celtic came from behind to take maximum points against Ross County, thanks to Alistair Johnston and Nicolas-Gerrit Kuhn's strikes. With 21 points from their first seven matches of the season, Celtic sit top of the Premiership standings, scoring 22 goals while conceding one. 

Aberdeen will look to extend their winning run in the Scottish Premiership against the best side in the league this Saturday. Last time out, Aberdeen played Hearts and pulled off a 3-2 win, thanks to Ante Palaversa's 88th-minute strike. In the meantime, Topi Keskinen scored first for this team in that game, with Nicky Devlin leveling the score after going behind. However, Aberdeen have secured a win in their first seven league matches, picking maximum points, which positions them second in the league standings. In that run, Aberdeen defeated Dundee FC, Motherwell, Ross County, Kilmarnock, St. Mirren, and St Johnstone. 

Aberdeen are playing so well this season, and looking at the odds here, I do not see them surrendering to Celtic. While Celtic have the best squad and have also played at the top level compared to Aberdeen, it is worth noting that the two teams have not lost this season. At home, I do not doubt Celtic winning, but with the performance of Aberdeen at the moment, I will back them to score, a game that should end with multiple goals.
