Cameroon vs Central Africa Prediction: A closely contested defensive play is expected

Stade Omnisports de Bafoussam will host the African Nations Championship encounter between Cameroon and Central Africa. The first leg ended in a close score, ending 0-1. Can visiting Central Africa get things right? I will preview this game and make predictions below. 

Cameroon's last game was against Central Africa, and they secured a 1-0 win. In that encounter, Aloys Fouda's lone strike was enough to see this team secure a win. However, this team remained unbeaten in their last nine matches. In that run, Cameroon won six matches while drawing three. In those matches, Cameroon picked up wins over Cape Verde, Namibia, Kenya and Zimbabwe. However, their encounters against Zimbabwe, Angola and Namibia ended in draws. At home, Cameroon won their last four matches and remained unbeaten in 14. Having been held to a draw only once in their last seven matches against Guinea, Cameroon have netted ten goals in their last four home games. 

Central Africa could not get things right in the first leg of this game and will hope to get things right here. In the meantime, Central Africa have faced defeats in their last six matches and failed to score in each. In fact, Central Africa have only one win in their last eight games, coming against Lesotho, ending 3-1. However, their encounters against Gabon, Lesotho, Morocco and Ghana ended in defeat. Away from home, Central Africa have not won in their last seven matches. In that run, their best result was against Mali, picking a 1-1 draw. 

Central Africa have been a very strong defensive side lately, and while I am certain they will struggle offensively, I believe this will be another defensive battle. Also, Cameroon have not been too good offensively, and even though they are highly favoured to win and are at home, a bet on a few goals is a good option to consider, with a draw in the first half is a good option.
