Rivers United vs Young Africans Prediction: The Nigerian-based club won’t lose at home

On Sunday, the Pride of Rivers will host Tanzania heavyweight Young Africans at the Godswill Akpabio International Stadium. The Nigerian-based side have won their last nineteen home games and stands a better chance here, having won their last two meetings against Yanga Boys.

Both sides met in the qualifying rounds in 2021, where Rivers United won both legs without conceding any goal. Rivers United might be going through some tough times in their domestic league, but their priority is to secure the CAF Confederation Cup title. Young Africans have players who can punish any side problems, and we are not totally ruling them out. We expect a high-scoring game here, with both sides getting a goal each for 2.20.
