CS Constantine vs Simba SC Prediction: The Smurfs will utilise their home advantage against the guests

After six years without an appearance in the continental tournaments, CS Constantine returned to the most prestigious competition in Africa with a win and will lock horns against Simba SC in an attempt to pick up their second three points at the Martyr Daoudi Suleiman Stadium tomorrow.

The Smurfs began their campaign with a deserved (0-1) victory over Sportif Sfaxien in Tunisia. CS Constantine, who played their ball game perfectly, defended well and scored once to cart away all the points. Brahim Dib scored the only goal that secured the maximum points for his side as he took his tally to eight in all competitions this season. 

CS Constantine were a quarter-finalist in their last appearance in this continental competition after being eliminated by Tunisian giant Esperance ST. 

CS Constantine are more of an attacking side, and with almost forty goals scored last season, we expect a more open encounter here.

The guests were nowhere near their best against Bravo do Maquis in front of their home supporters. Simba SC scored once from a penalty kick as they were mainly outplayed by their guests. Simba SV were lucky to have amassed all the points as Bravo do Maquis were denied from the spot. 

Things haven’t been the same for them in this competition, as they are yet to make their mark in the continental tournaments. 

Simba SC have won six consecutive games in all competitions and will be determined to at least secure a point here.

CS Constantine are a top side in the Algerian league and have reached the quarterfinals once in this competition; however, they have been absent since 2019. CS Constantine have a fantastic team who can beat any side in this competition, and after watching the guests' opening game against Bravo do Maquis, I expect CS Constantine to amass all the points. Algeria is a tough place for any team in this competition, and considering the fact that the hosts have won six of their last home games in all competitions, they are the favourite here.

I also think the hosts will win at the break for 2.10.

This game will end in a total of over 2.5 goals for 2.31.
