Vasco da Gama vs Fortaleza Prediction: Vasco has a tough nut to crack

It's another Round 27 match in which the strengths seem similar. If the game was played in Fortaleza, the Cearenses would be the favorites, but since the match is in Rio de Janeiro, the fight might be more divided. In their last five home games, the Vascaínos have won four and drawn one, precisely the last-round match against São Paulo. On the other hand, Fortaleza has only lost one of its last 13 games, including the Copa Sudamericana ties.

After a great comeback that sent the Hill's Giant out of the relegation zone, the Z4 has become a reality again. Vasco is now in 17th place but has only one point less than Bahia, which is one place above and outside the relegation zone. It won't be easy, though; the competition is strong and has quality. The Cearenses will go to the São Januário looking to take the three points, but to do so, they'll have to overcome a stadium that will be full and hostile.

It will not be an easy game for anyone, so I'm expecting a balanced match. Vasco da Gama has lost some confidence, so if there is to be a winner, it seems more likely that it will be Fortaleza. However, I'm not betting on a straightforward win for the visitors but rather on a Double Chance with a maximum of four goals scored in the match.
