Sadly for the millions of Corinthians fans, after a miserable season last year, it looks like the team won't improve much this year. The Timão hasn't won so far in the Série A, with two games played, and what's worse, it hasn't even scored a goal yet. In its upcoming match, the São Paulo side will make a short trip to Bragança Paulista to face Bragantino, which has made a promising start to the Brasileirão.

The Red Bull club picked up four points in the first two league rounds, thanks to a two-all draw at the Maracanã against Fluminense and a 2-1 home win against Vasco da Gama. Last year, Bragantino finished in sixth place, but for a few rounds in the last third of the league, it even occupied second place. This year, the Massa Bruta missed out on qualification for the Copa Libertadores group stage, and after that, its performances went downhill. However, the draw in Round 1 with Fluminense seems to have brought confidence back to Bragantino, which is showing much better form at the start of the Brasileirão. Pedro Caixinha's side will fight for another victory.
Corinthians
The Timão had an awful game in Caxias do Sul against Juventude, fresh from the Série B. Striker Yuri Alberto wasted two clear chances with the score still 0-0, which was fatal for Corinthians. Juventude scored twice in a few minutes, in the 53' and 59' minutes, knocking the Paulistas' confidence. Corinthians coach António Oliveira, who was sent off in the first game against Atlético Mineiro, was not on the bench and will miss the game with Bragantino, too. The team is under a lot of pressure and needs a victory, but without scoring goals, it's hard.
Expert Betting Tips
Bragantino has the home advantage and is more confident, but that doesn't mean it will win the game easily. Although Corinthians won't be able to have its coach on the bench due to suspension, the extreme need to get points could give the team the willpower it needs right now. I don't expect much risk from the Portuguese coaches, so I'm leaning toward a match with few goals.
